About #RunWithEliud The Daily Mile marathon challenge
Eliud Kipchoge is the fastest marathon runner in the world! This October, he will take on an exciting challenge in Vienna, Austria – to be the first person ever to run a marathon (26.2 miles) in under two hours! Eliud loves The Daily Mile and wants every child around the world to take part!
To show their support for Eliud, we’d like as many #DailyMile schools around the world to #RunWithEliud.
Are you ready to #RunWithEliud? Get involved by running a Daily Mile Marathon and completing 26 Daily Miles by Friday November 29th. Or just do as many Daily Miles as you can by this date. Taking part is much more important and every Daily Mile counts!

How to take part in #RunWithEliud The Daily Mile marathon challenge
Do your Daily Mile as usual – running or jogging outside for 15 minutes every day. Every Daily Mile that you do between now and Friday November 29th will count as one mile in #RunWithEliud The Daily Mile marathon challenge.
Download and print the #RunWithEliud information sheet and poster below. Tick one circle on the poster each time your class does The Daily Mile, running or jogging outside for 15 minutes.
You can print the stickers too, using the template – the children can wear the stickers while they run or jog The Daily Mile!
Make sure that you share photos of your class taking part in the challenge on social media. Don’t forget to use #DailyMile and #RunWithEliud so that Eliud can see you getting #FitForLife!

Send us a scanned copy or photograph of your #RunWithEliud The Daily Mile challenge poster by clicking on the link below by Friday November 29th to show us how many Daily Miles you completed.
We’d love as many schools as possible to do 26 Daily Miles – and complete the marathon, just like Eliud! Taking part is much more important though – so just do as many Daily Miles as you can!
Your class will receive a certificate for taking part. You will also be entered into a draw to win 1 of 10 ten t-shirts, signed by Eliud!

Yes! We’d love as many school as possible to do 26 Daily Miles and complete a full marathon, just like Eliud.
However – taking part and doing The Daily Mile is much more important. Just tell us how many Daily Miles you completed during the challenge.
- When will we receive our certificate for taking part?
The deadline for schools around the world to complete #RunWithEliud The Daily Mile marathon challenge is Friday November 29th.
We will aim to send all schools their certificate by mid-December but sooner if we can.
- When will we find out whether we have won a Daily Mile t-shirt signed by Eliud?
The deadline for schools around the world to complete #RunWithEliud The Daily Mile marathon challenge is Friday November 8th.
There are 10 signed t-shirts available. When we send schools their certificate for taking part in #RunWithEliud The Daily Mile marathon, we will also announce the names of the schools who have won a signed t-shirt. We will aim to announce the competition winners by mid-December but sooner if we can.
